  • Ozark Mountains

Located in northern Arkansas, it is a plateau filled with outdoor adventure activities such as zip-line, horseback riding, hiking and cycling. The Ozark National Forest covers vast territory from the state's highest peak (Mount Magazine) to underground Blanchard Springs Caves.

In addition to the Ozark, there are two other national forests in the region: the Ouachita National Forest, famous for its walking trails, and the St Francis National Forest, where you can fish from the Mississippi River.

  • Blanchard Springs Cavern

This cave complex carved out of river headwaters is in northern Arkansas, Stone County, within the Ozark National Forest. There are two levels of depth - to visit the latter, which reaches 112 metres below the surface, you must schedule the Discovery Tour.

Besides the caves, there is a children's play area with campsites, an exhibition room, ecological hiking trails, a lake for sport fishing and a picnic area.

  • Hot Springs National Park

The park, which also functions as a spa with hot baths, has 47 thermal springs from Hot Springs Mountain. The bathhouses are decorated with great elegance and whim, attracting visitors for over 150 years!

There is a general belief that the region's waters have healing power, whether it's cold or very hot - temperatures can reach as much as 65º C. The park area has more than 20 km² with several spas and rejuvenating treatments. The place is perfect for relaxing!

The National Park is located north of the city of Hot Springs. When you visit, be sure to see the Bathhouse Row - right in the centre of the area - the Fordyce Bathhouse, the West Mountain Trail - which offers an incredible view of the city - the Grand Promenade and the Mountain Tower, an observation tower that also provides a privileged view.

  • Buffalo National River

Arkansas has many options for activities involving the waters of the state; one of them is a canoe or kayak trip along the Buffalo National River, which is over 200 kilometers long. During the trip, it is possible to observe the wild animals of the region.
